An oldie but a goodie
Ray Copeland - Trumpet
Gigi Gryce - Alto Sax
John Coltrane - 1st Tenor
Coleman Hawkins - 2nd Tenor
From 2 of my favorite albums
I'm painfully ignorant about Jazz, but here's some junk stuck in my head tonight:
Mediocre recording, but awesome performance.
Catchy Buddy Holly ripoff?
I always laughed at this guy, until Mars Attacks, and it's so fucking bizarre, but the guy had an insane vocal range and he was precise. There was no beyonce or justin beiber back then.
This is from my current favorite album. Every few years an album comes along that just grabs you right away and sounds perfect from beginning to end with no bad songs or songs that you skip over. This album is it for me. Pure perfection. No matter what mood I'm in this album is well.... music to my ears.
