    It was good, not great. I do understand what people mean when they say it was produced like shit, they say it is over compressed. Sounds like shit loud, even through a quality system.

    I still liked them back then. The Death Magnetic and especially St Anger is when I left. I also for the record did not at all like the was they treated and left things with Jason. When he left Jason was more Metallica than the three others.

    I saw them back in 80 for the first time in a bar in CT somewhere, Kill had not even been released (they were selling copies at the show), anyhow there were like 50 or so people at this bar, and the funny thing was that we were actually there to see a band called Raven. Any Raven fans out there? The Metallica guys were selling their own swag at a table set up in the back of the bar. They were cool.
