If you look around, you'll note the survival rate among slaves was pretty high
I like the Japanese people. Beautiful culture etc. That being said. Those fuckers got off easy.
they knew how to fight a war back then. it was a war for survival so we rained fire on the fuckers. we didn't have a bunch of whiny lefty faggits crying about how our weapons cause too much damage to civilians and infastructure.
they were too busy killing nazis and japs!
when it's for survial, we know what to do, we know what to do.
do American history teachers still tell their students that the U.S. won WWII?![]()

i forgot all about canadians goofing on the yanks for coming into the war so late. americans don't hear that argument.
i went to a few american schools and none taught that the u.s. won the war. the allies were always prominent.
that being said, without the materials the u.s. sent to the soviets, they wouldn't have been able to push the germans. without the u.s. there would have been no invasion of europe. it was pretty much over for europe except for the gorilla warfare. the nazi's were very close to a bomb of their own. all in all, a very interesting part of history.
it's remarkable how many of us have died because some asshole wanted wasn't satisifed running their own little part of the world.

I've always harbored the notion that WWII was the last "real" war.....everything since has been a "protracted conflict"..... WWII pulled us out of the Great Depression and made us the Industrial badasses of the world. Then the war was over and the Military/Industrial manufacturers were all"Why all my money stop rollin' in!?!?!?"... So we started having little wars, not trying for definitive victories, just selling off our old weapons to little shit countries and then buying new weapons (on the taxpayers' dime), and then going "WHOA! That little shit country has weapons!
We best start using our new toys

We were late to the fray, but when the US entered the war, that was the decisive point. We kept England from falling, AND kept the Germans tied up on their Western Front, so they were unable to effectively deal with the Russkies on the Eastern front. Hitler went to great lengths to try and weasel America into staying out of the conflict, and was royally pissed when the Nips attacked Pearl Harbor without even telling him.
it really could have gone bad without us getting off our asses when we did. with just a few minor changes, like the japs not hitting us, the germans not sinking some of our trade ships and hitler not being so impatient to take russia, it would be a very different vorld!
then again, i'm a blue eyed blonde so it might not have been so bad.![]()
