My cousin has hepatitis C, so he basically avoids vitamin supplements because they can further damage his liver. He eats a balanced diet high in protein from sources other than meat. You basically have to treat it delicately and avoid shocking the system.

My liver is ok and it shouldn't be. Every morning the last ten years I take a centrum and a b complex with two cups of coffee and twenty oz. of cold water. I feel physically great all day, generally.

My cousin's had it for over twenty years and hasn't had any problems or complications beyond mild ones since he quit drugs and drinking and started eating normally(well, if you call being vegan normal).

I take BC Headache Powder for hangovers....that's about as self destructive as I get these days.

This and shitloads of water. It won't be a magical cure-all, but it's a big step in the right direction.

PS: I'm just learning about some of this, but I think getting your cholesterol and shit to lower numbers also helps Mr. Liver be happier....

The liver is such a delicate thing, there's no overnight cure-all....it really requires some discipline and change in lifestyle for a vital organ to heal itself.
