Usually, when one person says it, there are 50 more that believed the same thing but didn't say it.

Same thing with customer complaints. For every one person who complains about something, there are at least 10-50 people who had a similar problem but didn't want to take the time out of their day to tell you. They just stopped shopping with you.

True but for that 50 or so making the complaint, 50 others are satisfied.
Which is why I said it was a broad statement and stated as fact. It's generalizing, that's all.
I don't necessarily disagree. Women have very little in the way of justice in our system when it comes to our bodies, period.

And I was at a party in the woods one night when I was a teenager and a girlfriend of mine most certainly got raped and she was deathly afraid of her parents finding out.

She never reported it. I still remember that night. And I still remember who did it to her, more than 25 years ago.
