    History of Baba Booey

    Gary was overheard saying Baba Booey outside the studio during a commercial break .
    Howard was alerted (by Jackie via note?) to ask Gary about it on the air.


    Am I the crazy one....isn't that how it really went down???
    Is this another example of Howard taking all the credit??

    It was a show where Ma Ma Monkey was bragging about his comic art collection claiming he was an expert in comics. He then said he was going to get some Baba Louie art. But he accidentally (or just out of stupidity) called it Baba Booey. And they clowned on him for not even knowing the name of the character.

    Yeah but Gary was heard outside the studio saying Baba Booey before Stern asks him on air.
    Jackie (?) alerted Howard via note to ask Gary about it knowing he was gonna say Baba BOOEY.




    Stern has a long history of taking credit for all things amazing.
    That is one reason why Jackie saved his notes.
    It wasn't until the E show that Stern had to fess up to the note passing system because we could see it on TV.

    Does it really matter now? It is still a great moment in Stern Show history and I could give two shits if someone else overheard Gary say Bababooey.

    If true it is interesting to hear Stern try to get him to say it on the air.
