I think we can all agree that Leno sucks... but Fallon? The mass-murderer of skits, Jimmy Fallon taking over?

wtf is that about?

The later spot might be better for Stern, but still... this whole thing sounds like a cluster fuck.

Fallon sucks... its just interesting with Howard's past with NBC coming full circle to them slopping his knob for a new late night show.

I hate NBC and only watch it when he's on... or football... but I digress...

I read the howard forum. I agree with their sentiment that it is his agent planting a story for hype. Probably for the upcoming AGT season.

Howard is dead. He couldn't carry a late night talk show in his prime let alone now. No way NBC is interested in him, unless somebody with power is still clinging to their radio tastes from the 90s.

Letterman isn't the biggest loser at all, he goes out beloved in a few years, and never even had to be the kind of the ratings.

Fallon has too much fake enthusiam, and that Roots band is absolutely haaaarible for late night. Howard would never be hired to do a network talk show, maybe (very unlikely) a cable late night talk show. Howard isn't good on tv, he comes off as a spaz, and isn't good in live settings except for radio. I do find Fallon genuinely funny, but Kimmel has a lot more Letterman in him. If it goes Fallon vs Kimmel eventually I could see Fallon winning in the ratings because he is a kiss ass and comes off as a nice guy (Leno) But the cool guy will be Kimmel (Letterman)
