I've never heard that and I'm one who prides herself on knowing a good racial slur when it's called for

If I want to do some serious grinding, I'll go...the portions are huge. Kinda greasy though. Had some great dinners there but Ive also left there feeling like I had an ottoman lodged in my stomach. Place is always packed, though.

I remember how packed it always was when it was at the old KFC place across the street. Its good to see something doing well over in that little strip-mall nook area over there.. I'll have to check it out

The owner of Don Ramons also owned Cantamar. Ask them about it next time youre in.

His palatial estate is his parents basement. Doesn't matter to his you can hear all the plumbing running along with toilets flushing, the furnace kicks on and all he hears is a hum. Living the high life the OP is.

It's clear that you've either hung out with him, or live the same life. :

    California doesn't have basements?

How can you have a proper house without a basement?

That's the goddamn foundation of the home.

Its a lot of extra work for the builder. Its cheaper for them to build "up" than it is to dig "down" for the extra square footage.. And, with the strict Earthquake building-codes they have here ..& real estate prices already being as high as they are, it just wouldn't be cost effective for anyone involved .... I've never actually been in a house that's had a basement
