Howard Still Campaigning for a GLAAD Award - "Gay People Are God's Gift To The World"

Some of the GLAAD awards were given out on 03/16 (the rest will be announced in April) and on Monday 03/18 Howard suddenly says he "had the revelation over the weekend that gay people are God's gift to the world". He also said "there's something very special about every one of my gay friends" and "the shit they've had to put up with their whole lives has made them something more beautiful". I don't know if he's campaigning for this year's awards or next but I hope the people are GLAAD are smart enough to see him for the self-promoting fraud that he is.

Good to hear that. It seemed like the gay guy in the studio was buying it. He told Howard he had a good reputation in the gay community and all his support was appreciated. Apparently he hasn't read Howard's book or heard the same clips that we have.

I would think a gay person would find Howard's little speech totally condescending and even borderline offensive. Painting a minority with a broad brush like that is a classic liberal bigot move that white people usually reserve for blacks. I couldn't believe how many douche chills I got listening to that.
