He's just one of those never stretch a hit into a double/triple or beat an infield dribbler type of player.

Jeter is a really sure-handed SS, and once he's gone I think you'll see Cano toss a lot of errors on DPs. He's kinda sloppy on that end, too.

Great, natural swing though. A real hitter's hitter.

I don't think he's lazy, he just seems as though baseball comes easily to him, so it looks like he's not really putting in.

Jeter & Rivera aren't on the mega-bucks anymore, and judging by what Grienke got, the sky's the limit for superstar position players

Yes they are. Jeter is 20+ million and Rivera, last time i heard, makes between 12-15 million.

I think the MLB attendance will take a hit this year, too.

People don't have the money to go anymore. So I think teams will start budgeting like they never have before, especially the big players.
