"leave the memories alone"
Okay, which one of you smartasses is "Bob Ostrosky" from Pittsburgh?![]()
...you guys are going to make howard think hes got subscribers. he doesnt know the petition is signed by everybody listening on s*******t.
Yeah, that's gonna work.. because petitions have managed to change something.![]()

Signed at retweeted.
I'm from Chicago, so I'll do it again in an hour.
No. They dropped fees because several Congressmen talked to them and threatened legislation.
White House has been running petitions for years and nothing was accomplished by them. If you want change, nothing beats calling & voting with your POCKETBOOK.
Want BOR back? Call up Sirius and tell them you're canceling until they bring it back. But how many people here still have Sirius?
And these online petitions are just slacktivism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacktivism
Slacktivism (sometimes slactivism or slackervism) is a portmanteau of the words slacker and activism. The word is usually considered a pejorative term that describes "feel-good" measures, in support of an issue or social cause, that have little or no practical effect other than to make the person doing it feel some amount of satisfaction. The acts tend to require minimal personal effort from the slacktivist. The underlying assumption being promoted by the term is that these low cost efforts substitute for more substantive actions rather than supplementing them, although this assumption has not been borne out by research.[1]
Slacktivist activities include signing Internet petitions,[2] joining a community organization without contributing to the organization's efforts, copying and pasting of Social Network statuses or messages or altering one's personal data or avatar on social network services. Research is beginning to explore the connection between the concept and modern activism/advocacy, as groups are increasingly using social media to facilitate civic engagement and collective action.[3]
The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS describes the term "slacktivist", saying it "posits that people who support a cause by performing simple measures are not truly engaged or devoted to making a change".[4]

Oh absolutely, the petitions are designed to make you feel like you're doing something, but sometimes they have an effect. I remember signing one for a teenager whose picture was banned from his school yearbook because he was waving a rainbow flag in it. He got thousands of signatures and a lot of attention AND he got in the yearbook.![]()
This is tough ...
I hate Jason and Ted with a passion, so the cancellation was nice in a way. But I did enjoy the show ... Though they had no balls when callers spoke negatively about wiggy
Who knows if this will have much effect, but I signed and dropped a zoo za zoo in the comment box.
