Plunder the conquered, as in Iraqi resources like their oil.

Oh it definitely wasn't worth it Obi and you won't find me arguing such here. Just pointing out that there were a few good things that came out of this debacle.

...north dakota is booming with oil in one town. not enough housing, people living in cars and campers to get the 19 dollar an hour jobs extracting 500 billion gallons of crude.

Celebrate now, because it will return in the 23rd century as V'ger looking to destroy all carbon units.

...when you invade a country kill its people, drive out and kill the countrys leader and family, then install your choice for governing factions, you plundered the country. and they plundered our country too when they poured our tax dollar surplus left behind by clinton

I think you may be thinking the time it'd take to reach the next nearest star. The known universe is at least 20 Billion LIGHT YEARS in diameter.

Multiverse. I'll toot my own horn by saying I never could accept the concept of one universe, perhaps because I can't accept the concept of nothingness, even before these newer theories were widely disseminated and known. The only problem is proving it since seeing light from another universe that may be billions or trillions of light years away, hell maybe even on another plane of existence/reality than our own, is way beyond our capabilities.

Shit, even the empty "space" we were taught to believe isn't even empty.

Right, because I'm sure that would've benefited *us*, the American taxpayers.

Because when Big Oil, Haliburton, etc., profits and destroys countries, it's because they're looking out for the American people. They really give a shit about the UNITED STATES . They're real 'merkins who really look out for real 'merkins. Yes, I'm sure "we" would've directly benefited from that theft and plundering that for whatever demented reason you cheer on knowing full-well it does nothing for the American people and only a few, wealthy multinationals actually benefit from that theft.

There's something seriously wrong with any person who supports this knowing full-well the American people foot the bill and take the risks, but see none of the profits.

Even an asshole dictator like Chavez did more to provide oil to low income Americans than any American company who'd sooner tell you to use your grandmother as kindling to stay warm than to give you a break on heating oil.

The thing probably went on the fritz years ago and they're faking receiving signals so the program funding isn't cut. One day someone will realize the guy listening in's headphones aren't even plugged in.

Yeah the Voyager probes and Hubble Telescope more than paid for themselves with the information they have accumulated.

Amazing is the most overused word in the entire known universe. It is used multiple times in any given red carpet interview to describe the talents of people who recite lines while looking at cameras and other people who point to the first people and tell them to start speaking. It is spoken to convey how delicious melted cheese can be on a patty of beef. As folks on here are accustomed to, it can also be used by celebutards to talk about the way other celebutards pet puppies and kittens.

When discussing Voyager, you have finally used the word 'amazing' in a proper context. Congrats!
