Remember Mark Sanford?

Former Gov of South Carolina who mysteriously disappeared to fly (on taxpayer expense) to fly to Argentina to fuck his mistress? The guy who cheated on his wife, betrayed his family, lied to everyone?

When he was gone, he was not available - had there been an emergency, etc.

Oh and he was a huge, vocal critic (like all Republicans were) of the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, demanding he resign, etc?

Well.... Mr. Family Values is back....

I think it's the hypocrisy he's getting at, G. Nobody's perfect, but the right-wingers tend to want to legislate their morality on everyone else, while quite often not abiding by what they would demand of others....

Since you don't have a response, let me make it simple for you.

If you aren't blinded by blind party loyalty, you can see that it was an international embarrassment for our president to have an extramarital affair while in office. It is also an embarrassment for a sitting governor to have an affair while in office. You forgot the married New York governor that visited whores while in office (I don't even know what party he was in.)

They are all wrong. For you to try to make hay about a Repub doing something like while ignoring the same immoralities by your own party is hypocritical, and quite frankly, ignorant.

I'm not going partisan nor trying to fuck with you, but that statement is simply not true. Most of the rest of the world is much less hung up on sex and extramarital affairs than we are in the US. If my drug-addled memory is correct, most of the world was like "WTF is wrong with the Americans, spending millions of dollars and tying up most of their government to try and destroy an extremely effective and mostly popular leader?!?!?! It's very childish at best!!!".
