Howard's screwed again, the ratings for the premiere will likely be higher since it won't have any competition but Howard won't be able to brag about it because he'd have to dodge the question of why they were higher with Klum and Scary's premieres than his.
Fret not, mon frere: the 'Wald has got this one. If the ratings go up (lol, I know... but still anything is possible) I'm sure this will be attributed with the Howard-aided show "finding its audience" naturally over the course of 1+ seasons due to some reason akin to shows taking awhile to "develop" or, again, "find their audience." If the ratings go lower/plummet/etc then it'll be blamed on Heidi and Mel because revamping a "talent" show with two judges whose careers are largely based on other people doing things for them (Heidi the modoe has people setting up her shoots, telling her how to pose, take her pictures, etc.... Mel has people write her songs, pick out her outfits, coreograph her dances, etc) then, OBVIOUSLY ROBIN, they were the reason the show failed.
One way or another the success of the show will be due to Howard and/or the shortcomings of the show will be blamed on the newcomers. Howard should have enough money to buy the PR to disseminate his talking points, it's a no-lose situation for him. I mean, hell, it's a no-lose situation from the getgo because he gets his $10mil/+ to judge a "talent" show, which Howard used to repeatedly point out is one of the easiest big paychecks in the business.
I don't blame him for any of this either.... I mean, if we were in his position woudn't we do the exact same thing? There's plenty of actual stuff to get on him for, so I'll give him the thumbs up on this one.... take the $$$ and run, Howard, GODSPEED YOU GAZELLE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD!
I predict the ratings will dip slightly from last year, even with the new timeslot - and they will get worse as the season goes on. I hope it gets as bad as it possibly can, and Howard is hung out to dry like the washed up phoney he is
"Ok, I'm going to need you to take some pills I have in the other room..."

They moved into May sweeps because of the Olympics. Howard spun it that it was because of him.
BTW, they decided that they would move it into May Sweeps because in 2008, the show got killed in September when they pushed it back into Fall premiere week. The problem is that they got crushed even worse last year.
"Ok, I'm going to need you to take some pills I have in the other room..."

Who are the retards that watch AGT?
Robin/Howard talks about how everybody with vinyl should be committed to mental hospital. In real life: all AGT watchers should be shipped to mental.
Greatest story never told.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lejfGhWeakY
Robin asked whatever happened to last yrs winner and runner up acts?
Howard said oh, they out touring all over the country. They're rakin' it in.

Want to know the irony behind all this? Howard doesn't like looking like a fool, but all he succeeds at by trying harder is looking like a bigger fool.
when in a hole, Howard, stop digging. Retire now before you do more damage to your image. The only future you have is that of a homeless dude wasting his money on scratch tickets...
We only win if you stay in the game.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.
That "fool" will make more money in the next few weeks than the whole of The Saloon will make in a lifetime.
You're probably right that Stern cares about his image, but I think a few million will help soothe his angst over a few hundred guys on an internet message board "winning".
2013 Douche Of The Year Hopeful...
