His kid was also into rap and I believe Gary said that his son once said he wished he was black because black people are cool. Its a regional thing more than anything. I grew up in Hawaii and all the asians want to be Hawaiin. In New York, all the white kids want to be black because NY is the mecca of hip hop. Whenever I visit NY, it amazes me how many wiggers NY and the East Coast has has compared to LA and the West Coast.
