I read that it would be like seeing a play. It was not like that at all. It definitely didn't look like a movie, either. It looked -- at least until they got into the heavy special effects stuff -- like a TV show. THat's just my brain's experience, though.

A lot of the critics have referred to it as the "soap opera" effect, and to me that's exactly what it looked like. I heard the play description too and it looked nothing like that to me.
