Just booked 5 days & 6 nights at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora ...

August cant come soon enough... 6 days & 5 nights

A co-worker of mine went there last summer, and I was absolutely blown away at the pics he brought back... I never knew a place like this was accessible to the regular Joe Schmo public.... It's gonna set me back a fair amount (about $1600 a night, plus accoutrements, etc), but this is one of those once in a lifetime experiences... its been about 8 years since I've been on a real take time off of work, get on a place, and go somewhere nice kind of vacation.... This'll be my first sober vacation since I was about 15, so it's gonna be a different experience, for sure...

Bora Bora, Four Seasons... Shit'll take your breathe way with its beauty ...

Yes ... Most of the vacations I've taken in the the last 15-20 years have either been planned by the Chick I happened to be with at the time (All I had to do was hand over my credit card to pay for it) ..OR, I planned it on my own on a complete whim (usually just over a weekend)... I've never really taken the time to look around at whats out there & then plan out all the details well in advance ...

Who the fuck do you think works in the resorts, asshole? I have friends that have worked for the Four Seasons in these tropical resorts and they have told me about all the fucked up shit that goes on in these types of places and what it's like to work with the locals. You're gonna wish there were black people there because at least you would be inclined to watch your back when they are around.

WE love all of the historical shit in DC......I can go there every year and be perfectly content. We usually hit up Ocean City for a few days as well. I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Cancun. It probably wasn't as opulent as the 4 seasons but it was too much for me. Too many stiffs. I kind of need to stay at more humble places.

Good choice. I always book Four Seasons in Maui. Also in Scottsdale. Can't go wrong there.

It isn't. That's why I was very uncomfortable at the place I stayed. We used Hotel points. I would never spend that much. Lots of rich people acting rich making me uncomfortable.

Yup, same here...when I travel I prefer a more modest hotel and a rental car...I wanna get out and see the local shit anyway
