    How many anti-acids do you have to take a day?

    Fer fuck's sake, I'm only 37. And realistically, I've been taking them on and off since my teens.

    I'm up to 4. 2 twice a day, and perhaps add another 2 if I've eaten or drank something that perturbs my stomach.

    I have a wicked prescription for it, since I was assessed with H-pylori a couple of years ago.

    Can't imagine how many I'd have to take if it was "off-the-shelf" stuff.

    Well it's certainly not on my "list of things that make me healthy" - but it's treatable.

    It's quite horrible sometimes. I once threw up a bologny sandwich on my drive home from work, 'cause the acid reflux was uncontrollable. That's when I found out I had some bacteria in my stomach = Hpylori.

    My van stank like rotten bologny for weeks.

    Slippy sometimes acid reflux can be psychosomatic. I'd look into that if I were u.

    I tend to get reflux if I drink pop which is why I hardly drink it anymore.

    I think somebody posted recently that they got kidney stones from eating too many anti acids.

    Not sure if vaginas get them, but if you do it's gonna really sting when you pee.

    I've noticed I only have slight heart burn when I'm really stressed. So I might need to pop a few antacids about twice a year.
