I think Beth is going to pull a Sharon Osbourne/Mark Harris rope-a-dope combo on his fading ass, not letting him retire/pushing him to his frail limits, half out of greed/half out of wanting to basically kill him.

San Antonio is beautiful today, TX is a much better retirement state than FL is anyday.
The above statement is being made of my own free will. This site neither condones nor agrees to anything I post but for my right to post what I feel.

Maybe Howard should've not signed cash grab 2.0 if he was too tired.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.

Well if the rumors are true that Sirius can opt out In year 3 that would make sense why he and buchwald are putting up a full court press for his future.

I think it sounds like the channels are failing and he is trying to make an excuse when IN Demand backs out of their agreement.

Yeah he did say something today about great ideas for HTV. Better roll them out soon I can imagine the money in demand is putting up for HTV is putting them in the black.

He's obviously been informed his days are numbered...they will have to honor his contract but it should prohibit him from working for or on anything that 's radio-related or else it's breached - and that's what Liberty would like to happen. However involuntarily being put on the shelf as irrelevant would drive his ego crazy.

    AND, their RIDICULOUS projects

THAT'S gotta cost a pretty penny. And, he had the nerve to make fun of Hulk Hogan, spending all that money on his loser daughter's "career"

Let's face it, he is not going to retire. EVER! He needs to feed his fame addiction and without his washed-up radio show he's nothing. And then, there are his talented daughters...who's gonna support them? don't you love when celebs' kids think that they are going to make it in the biz, because they are special (aka Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter?)?
If my parents had Howie's money, I would make sure I would get a good education, and get a freaking career. Zoo Za Zoo!

Like I give a shit. I don't even like seafood. And I'm sure lower class citizens can afford shrimp.
Howard Stern: We were just taking pictures. I'm practicing, I'm learning how to work my camera. So I took some and she said "Submit them to Hampton's Magazine, so it's very nice. But the problem is, if I known it was a cover...

You forgot Beth. It's all about her. If Howard retired 12/15/2010, kiss all of the movie premiers, Hampton's parties and other social and professional situations good-bye! Then kiss Beth good-bye!

I can see Howard doing AGT full-time making $15M a year and perhaps another cash opportunity and letting THSS crew sink into permanent unemployment.

Also, the end of H101, if that happens, demonstrates that even of you have a channel with no one making more than $300 a show ( post Bubba and Ferrell), shitty radio still costs the company money if no one listens and you can't sell advertising.

Still a drop in the bucket for billionaires. Normal people can't fathom that kind of wealth that literally cannot run out, you really can't spend that much. Howard could go to Sotheby's auctions wasted for a week and just keep buying stuff and still be rich.
