The same holds true for getting that drunk and losing control of your faculties. Should you be able to get pass out drunk without getting abused or raped? Yeah, but guess what, there are some genuine sociopaths out there that will take advantage of you if you give them the chance so why give them that easy chance? The best way to not become a victim is by not putting yourself in situations that lend themselves to you being victimized. Things are dangerous enough out there, for women especially, without purposely letting yourself get out of control.
