This is Stern's secret for creating great radio in 2013. Mix in some stale discussion of the new pope, Lil Wayne, Dominic Barbara getting busted, and arranged phone calls to bash new AGT judges and Sal's cooking tweets.
They really need to get Dominic on the air and if Howard had any sense he'd start busting his balls relentlessly. If Dominic pulled all of these weird shenanigans 15 years ago, he'd be considered wack-pack material...which is probably not too far from the truth anyway and always has been.
I'd like to know the real reason he's not talking about AGT. Did Sirius management tell him to stop doing free ads or is he ashamed because the turnout was so low and unenthusiastic in New Orleans?
I know his first contract was published due to the (frivolous) lawsuit. Did it say anything that he is forbid from talking about any topics? I figured with the issue he had the last year at CBS he would have a stipulation in his contract that Sirius cannot preclude him from talking about any subject.
