ryan lever, the sooner you recognize that work is not only necessary, but healthy, the sooner you can lead a normal life. think of it this way: in the old days, humans were hunters and gatherers. so your role back then would be as hunter or gatherer. you had no choice but to work if you wanted to live because you needed food and you needed to use the other products of the animal for clothing, housing, etc.

nowadays, going to work has become a substitute for hunting and gathering because now we buy our food and housing and clothes. so, just like you would have had to hunt/gather to survive back then, you need to work now. as much as i'm in support of disability, social security, and financial assistance on a temporary basis for people who are down on their luck, long term government support makes people takers and you can't be happy when someone else is providing your life for you.

take control. go to work. make money. save money. build yourself up. build your confidence. build your self worth. all by getting a job. this comes from a place of love.
