    Americans and Europeans think that they can just go camping in some marginal neighborhood in a shithole foreign country like India/Africa and it is some romantic getaway.

    Even Americans think that every neighborhood in London/Paris/Rome is safe as there are not many blacks/Hispanics. They find out the hard way wandering around neighborhoods and get robbed, then realize its not Disneyworld.

    Worse things that happened to these shot hole countries is the British empire giving the countries back to the citizens.

    The French and English empires didn't do much to advance their countries in their empire but they also weren't a TOTAL shithole like they are now.
