Most unsuccessful indoor gardeners "love" their flowers to death. Most outdoor gardeners make very simple mistakes. The main ones? No drainage, or planted too deep or too shallow.

Iris rhizomes like to be about 2 1/2" under the ground. Too deep and they'll have really big foliage and either no blooms, or very small/few blooms.

    incredible stuff by everyone.

I'd go take pics of my flowers outside.... I just need the snow to melt and flowers to start growing.

Pretty sure I have a couple of pics on my PC.

I've seen a few bulbs blossoming, but for the most part we're still getting the shitty cold weather down here too.

i had to mix 6 cubic feet of soil and 2 cf of perlite and some witches brews and potions last week. not fun. not funny.

i really wish i could skip that part so i asked around and found a few guys who will mix up some supersoil for me. i'm just waiting on quotes. i use smart pots.

now if i could just find someone to water them for me.

    My tiger lilies:

    My rubrum lilies:

And one of my favorite tulips:

A little gardening hint here for those of you with tulips. You know the "damn..." feeling you get when they're not blooming anymore?
Simple solution. Dig up the bulbs and stick them in the fridge (don't let them freeze) for 2-3 weeks and replant them.

They'll think winter has come and gone and it's time to bloom again. You can do this over and over. Even in winter in a pot in a sunny window.

    Fixed it for you.
Landscaping increases property value. But why am I explaining this to you? You make all this money and lease everything.

My hair is dry now, so I'm going on a bike ride. Might take a few drags off a J when I hit the trail if the mood strikes me.
