Disgraced divorce lawyer Dominic Barbara was arrested for allegedly stealing a woman’s purse from a posh Long Island store.
The former celebrity divorce lawyer was busted on March 7 for swiping the $1,400 Yves Saint Laurent bag from the Hirshleifer’s shop on the Gold Coast’s Miracle Mile, a police report said.
Surveillance cameras caught him swiping the purse on Feb. 12, cops said.
A prescription pill — believed to be Ambien — was also found in the born-again Christian’s pocket when they searched him during his arrest, according to the report.
A source said he did not have a prescription. During questioning, Barbara claimed he didn’t think he stole the bag and offered to pay for it, the report said.

It’s the latest in a string of legal setbacks for the lawyer, who was charged in December with trying to extort $200,000 from his ex-wife Leslie Barbara after allegedly threatening to reveal dirty photos of her. He is due back in court on April 2.
Barbara refused to comment.
