i tuned in the other day *didn't pay* and the horseshit the show has become is fucking so bad that unless you are being held at gun point you can't listen to it for more then 15 mins

Last time I listned a few months ago, it was okay.... the Howard started his lame mother/father impression... and after 15 minutes I actually muttered to myself "fucking...enough. Jesus christ Howard".

That is one of the worst spots he does and it really goes on too long. The HSS has gone from "I want to hear what he will say next" to "Oh, no, not this again - hope it is over soon."

It is fun to follow on the boards, but I do find myself turning off Howard (which I never used to do) and over to O & A.

I was in charleston last week and found a decent classic rock station. Their morning team worked FIVE DAYS A WEEK!!!

Almost as if radio is a habitual medium or something.

And they may not have been the funniest, but they had energy and seemed to enjoy what they do. When was the last time THSS gave off THAT vibe?

Back where I moved here from, (Tulsa) their classic rock station had real prank phone calls with a twist. You could sic these guys on a friend or family member. They let the victim in on the who's the perpetrator at the end of the call.
But Roy D will whoop your ass!

And another Tulsa native was also a victim while back in town. Billy Goldberg. He was not amused...
