You are correct. It was a Vanity Fair article. Amongst the "candidates" were Garner, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Bosworth and Scarlett Johanssen. I think it was done under the pretense of an audition. How awesome would it have been if he wound up with that trainwreck Lohan.
