Its weird, for sure, starting a thread about it would be in poor taste, so I suppose I'm resigned to explaining it to whoever asks. I haven't even talked to my coworkers about it. Only two people I work with know about it. I took off my wedding ring quite a few months ago, but no one noticed or asked because people rarely wear their marital rings in my line of work in the first place.
