Spare a kidney?
RIP Bro-

what, no
and i agree - it's 20fucking13, who cares who marries who? less gov't intrusion, UNLESS it's gays. doesn't make sense...
I've had some time to think about this particular situation since the news broke yesterday (or was it the day before?) and, well...
When a child comes out to his or her parent(s), it's sort of like the parent is coming out too. Their first reaction or the way they handle it, whether it's how they discuss it (if at all) among their friends and colleagues is sometimes awkward and clunky and I guess at the end of the day, so long as they're supportive of their child, that's the most important thing, but I do question a person who is in a position of leadership and seemingly waits until a calculated, "safe" moment to "come out" with the news.
He's known since 2011 and was supposedly on Romney's short list for VP and now, more than 5 months after the election and months before any election season in sight, it seems like he chose a safe time to break the news to his party and the country.
It's a little disappointing but in a way, he's kind of a pioneer so I'll cut him a little slack.
He's got an uphill battle ahead with his party, though. I don't envy him that.
he absolutely wouldn't have supported it otherwise. that may even be something he wouldn't deny. i'm not impressed. "hey, look, i'm a republican but i don't hate this group of people like the rest of them". fuck off. so once it affects him personally, now he's cool to it. when it only affected everyone else, he somehow felt differently. that's par for politicians, this isn't new. he even seems to want a pat on the back and a cookie.
"If my wife started going to a bereavement counselor, I'd throw her out." Howard referring to Nancy's grieving of Timmy the cat.
He loves his live gay son. (Heathers reference)
Anyone actually do a poll on what percentage of voters who identify as Republican, or more importantly, VOTE that way, are actually actively against gay marriage?
The few people I know the politics of don't seem to care. I get the impression the days of dominance by the social conservatives in that party are nearing an end.
As usual, the vocal extremists of all parties seem to get the most attention and seem to form people's opinions about that party. Another example would be "corporate welfare". I've never met a right-leaning person who didn't abhor it. And most seem to be off the Neocon (I hate that term) "constant warfare" kick as well.
I think we live in a political environment of stereotypes, when probably 60% of the nation really isn't in synch with either party.

Being educated about the Gay does not equal "hating" them.
Being gay is a choice. Not a "pre-programmed" genetic defect. If it was a defect, there would be no problem making a cure for it (if it was desirable). There are many countries in the world without the gay. Its 100% cultural.
Its stated in the Protocol of Zion that they want to make society denounce god. (succeeded. Most people admit that the bible is a fairy tale). They also want to break up society by perversion. (Gay, Pedophilia)
If you study history you will see that Gays did not exist before the French revolution. Sure. Gay acts existed, just like animals. But that was always a way to show dominance. (For example in Rome: Fucking a man in the ass was accepted. But being fucked in the ass was considered a huge shame)

Q stands for "questioning".
I think they should embrace a broader spectrum of human emotion by including "seriously considering" and "only on weekends with a good whiskey buzz".
The acronym would then be "LGBTQSCOOWWAGWB". It still looks like something to eat made with Bacon, lettuce and tomato but now in a word for saying it from Somilia.

yea, but the problem is the ones who are against it are hardcore against it and they would never vote for someone for it.(whereas im for it, but id vote for someone against it if i agreed with them on most other issues.) no R candidate can get the nomination if for it. so even the ones for it have to pretend to be against it.
and this guy was to be picked for VP, then he told them the secret(according to the article)
fox poll 25% R support
cnn poll 23% R support
this shouldnt even be a political issue at all, regardless if for or against
