Not a lot of them. eventually he drew enough of an. audience where he'd only bring one or two openers. He gave Shuli some charity spots and Levy too. most of the wack packers went with the Killers of Comedy shows.

I think he mainly was the draw (aside from the Stuttering John tour) and was throwing these other shitheads a bone for extra gigs...but essentially Artie wouldn't be doing big shows (or having his own show) without Howard's exposure.

I saw Artie in San Francisco with the hack pack. He was wasted and horrible but some of the other comedians weren't bad. Highlight of the show was Eric the Midget. Artie introduced him and asked him to say a few words. Artie stuck the mike in ETM's face and while we were waiting for ETM to get his first words out, which took an eternity, the audience collectively started yelling "Ack Ack".

I can't watch it more than a minute at most. I've tried several times... Even that clip dragged for me. I want him to succeed... he needs to succeed with it... but it just sucks to me.

I was never able to get into artie's "character" on the show...although unfortunately, I think it's his reality. I DO know that Artie is a lot more intelligent and well read than he let's on.
