Actually, that quote is totally misrepresnted and completely out of context. IIRC, the quote in the article comes from monday's show when he was miffed at some local anchorwoman calling Mel B "the only entertainer" on the AGT Judge Panel, which caused Howard to get all up in arms about the semantics of being an "entertainer." He didn't say that stuff to directly address the Jimmy Fallon rumors.

So while the brunt of the commentary in here is, of course, on point for being dead on about the Wigged Wonder, technically the basis of this article is a bunch of bullshit and whoever wrote it was just taking random Howard meandering/bitching out of context to make her story seem that much more !!!!. Fred played Robin into her news with a Little Mikey song parody. Howard said that the rumors are true that he's going to be taking over the Jimmy Fallon slot. He said he's also been signed to anchor the NBC nightly news. He said he'll be on The Office, Community and Parks and Recreation as well as Whitney. He said he's going to replace Bart Simpson on The Simpsons as well. Howard said NBC is genius.

Howard said NBC told him that they're not firing Jay Leno. He said he really just wants to keep the rumor going though. He said he's the biggest guy in radio and he hates to think that the best he can come up with is a 12:30am time slot on TV. Howard said they act like he's a beginner or sometime.
