Recent news has stated the aliens in "Prometheus" will be quite larger than those in previous films. This is because they are supposedly mixed with DNA from the large "space jockey" first revealed in the original "Alien" movie. There is a brief glimpse of him (or what looks to be somewhat like him) in this new trailer.
Later tonight (3/17, 7pm EST/4pm PST), Prometheus director Ridley Scott and writer Damon Lindelof will appear at AMC Downtown Disney 12 in Anaheim to debut the film's new trailer and participate in a q/a session afterward. I can't remember more hype for movie trailers before.
They have actually had teaser trailers for the release of upcoming full trailers for this flick. Now they are holding a trailer premiere and Q&A session.
I sure hope the movie doesn't suck after all of this.

Nothing will ever beat the hype for "The Phantom Menace" trailer.
For a very brief moment it looked like Lucas had directed and written a well done Star Wars movie.
Then I paid for and died on the inside watching that piece of garbage.

I hated Alien3 until I watched the huge amount of backstory they give it on the extras DVD in the Quad set.
It makes the movie worth watching and explains so much. I was amazed to see they had almost an entirely different film already under way when the scrapped it and pared it down to what was released.
All 4 movies have entire extras DVDs that are full of hundreds of hours of great stuff.
I think its the best movie collection DVD set ever done.
