Something that my ego learned the hard way: you're never as important as you think you are.

I know how you feel...........I've felt like feces under a heel before, while putting in 80 hours a week, and sweating my tits off.

Quitting will only put you in a financial bind though. My only suggestion to you is to at least tough it out until you have another job lined up, so you are secure.

My bosses are awesome. My peers, on the other hand, are a bunch of lazy, stupid weirdos. One flipped out on me yesterday when I requested that she cut back on her morning spray-the-desk-down-with-Lysol-until-everybody-gags ritual.

They would call me on the weekend to do a LOCUS (it is a score), and I would do it, while I am by the pool, because it was interesting, and I thought that is how it goes in this country.

I used to work until morning,
sometimes the owners would come back to the office by accident,
and they will find find me there working.

I never ever worked 8 hours, but always more.

today I did not go to work, because i had deadline work, and I know I can only do it from home, because there is always a "party" and distraction at work. I did that many times, when we had too much work.

My brother told me a year ago: if you go to work and push papers from left to right- that is work, regardless, if you make nothing for the company.
if you work from home, they do not appreciate it, because "you are not at work".

Well my best guess would be minimum wage, which is........I think $8 and change in Canada. I do not know what minimum wage is, in the US though.

Unless you are in the serving industry, then they can pay you under minimum in lieu of anticipated tips.
