Given your shining example of Christianity, I think I’m fine not being considered Christian. You’re very typical of most born agains. Yours is the only right way and everyone else is evil.
But tell me what your prior evil was. No one becomes born again unless they have urges and demons they can’t suppress. What was yours? Drugs? Pedo? Porn habit. Everyone knows it had to be something.
and who the FUCK is THIS faggit?![]()
John 3:16

I'm far from being well versed on Catholicism.. But, the few times I've gone with my sisters family to their Catholic services, much of the service was devoted to ritual & frivolity (repeating the same things over & over again, kneeling & standing, etc)...Very little time was spent on actual Biblical teaching ...

I'll bet the ancient new pope can still get it up for little boy ass!![]()
The Catholics have a reading from the gospel, the old testament, and I think the epistle in each mass. I think that is right. they celebrate the commmunion, which celebrates the last supper and the lessons from Jesus. I don't understand. Are you saying that church should be sitting there the whole time and reading bible passages? I think that is fundamentalism, not Christianity. There is a difference I think

No.. Just eliminate the unnecessary rituals (created by man), and then help people to understand the Bible ...and (more importantly), how to incorporate all that into your everyday life.... I think obsessing on where we go after we die gets to be obnoxious. No matter how you discuss it, it will still always be an intangible idea... Discussing intangibles all the time gets boring real quick, and the Human brain doesn't respond very positively to boredom... I think most people would like to hear how incorporating Biblical teachings can better their lives while they're still here on Earth ... You're only gonna get the desired response from "Doom & Gloom" for so long. There needs to be a large portion of positiveness & uplifting to keep people coming back.
you are saying two separate things here. First, doom and gloom? What's that have to do with catholic mass? Are you saying that the sermons you have experienced at mass are doom and gloom? I actually find those sort of sermons to be more associated with fundamentalist churches.
In terms of boredom, well that's like your opinion man. I don't see how the fact that mass is boring to you makes Catholicism any less christian.
Matt talked about Martin Luther. Papal infallability is a fucking joke and produces absurd results, like the immaculate conception. but I think that you have to still say they are Christians.![]()
