I was set to give it up, but my husband renewed it automatically for a year without asking me. But that's the last time.
...yeah so many ways to get entertainment on the radio now a days. i can see sirius being really good if you travel a lot cause there are still dead spots out there where its hard to get anything on your radio. sports fans maybe are loyal to sirius but its just not worth it to "get what you pay for" with sirius for me.

I've also read that Howard's salary was supposed to cover the budget for his show....but that was NOT outlined in the contract....so all the marbles went in his pocket...and there is no budget for travel, bits, etc.
It was obvious when he didn't develop his channels, let Bubba go, didn't replace Artie, etc., that he was pocketing everything. Greedy, thieving asshole let his entire career go down the shitter and ruined lives just to pocket a few extra bucks.

Oh God, please don't let the new owners fall for his bullshit. They can't be that stupid, can they?

I got it for Howard and I've lost my enthusiasm for it. I'd rather cancel and tell them why than keep it at this point.

He has become so shallow, fake and transparent that it'd be pretty hard not to see through him and his brown-nosing bullshit. I hope they make him earn his money going forward.

The only time I listen to Sirius is on the way into work.
Just the opposite for me. I love the music channels, except for the Grateful Dead, Margaritaville and Elvis. The talk channels, not so much. I'd like to listen to O&A, but I only have a subscription to Sirius and they're not available that way. I wish Sirius would hire Adam Carolla. I love him better than Howard.

It is worth it for some people. A lot of people had Sirius before Howard even knew what it was and they're faithful to the format. If there are a few specialty channels that you love, it's worth having.

Damn. I know the feeling. I couldn't imagine a day when I wouldn't turn the show on, but I rarely do at all anymore.

They need more money so they can hire celebrities to do radio.

You know what shows suck? That Rotten Tomatoes Radio. Pure shit. I don't think they know how to do radio. You never get the feeling that you know what the hell they're talking about. They're just talking amongst themselves. It sounds like you're listening to a conversation where you almost know what they're talking about but you can't understand. Everything on that 104 except Jay Thomas is shit radio.

Covino and Rich are crap. They really need to establish a ratings system so they can kick out the no-talents.

I drive on average 350 miles a day, Not counting the 100 round trip to and from work, All over Western/Central Tennessee........I remember the days of having an encyclopedic memory of where one station stopped and another picked up AM/FM......SXM has ended all of that and that's why I'll keep it........

I had high hopes for that Rotten Tomatoes show, but what a bunch of smug dickheads. They find themselves and each other far wittier and more fascinating than we ever could.

I called to cancel the other day and was given half off with free Internet and a free radio switch, so I kept it.

Agreed.......Not a fan of "Buzz-Feed" Either......Rotten Tomatoes has three sometimes more people talking over each other on a scale that'd make the wenches on "The View" Seem like Nun's keeping a vow of silence............

Bribery works sometimes. Unfortunately, I don't think they care enough to bother in Canada (but neither do I, so it'll all work out).

I wonder how much Sirius is going to save by getting rid of the women who hosted this Broadminded show.

Whatever these women were getting paid pales in comparison to the millions being given to Howard, as well as others like Oprah and Chris Russo who don't deliver any additional subscribers. Maybe the company will give Ross Zapin his walking papers to save some more cash.

Holy shit how about that other show with Neil Strauss or whatever the guy's name is. It sounds like they place the mic in the corner then go to the other side of the room and start talking over each other.
