I really like his album The Stranger. His other stuff, not so much.

He's a biker so that makes him OK.

I just saw it on CBS news and was gonna start a thread about it myself. The kid is a freshman at Langston.

That was some chill-inducing shit. Seriously. Big Billy Joel fan. Only thing that has me wondering if it was a setup is Billy had Michael change keys... and they made some big deal about the charts before he started playing, yet the kid didn't look at them once.

Dunno... Great fucking video, setup or not. And the ending was incredible. Probably the kid's 15 minutes, but still... how he was able to play with Billy Fucking Joel on the mic is beyond me.

I loved watching how Billy had no idea what to do with his hands while he was singing. "I feel like Frank Sinatra here."
As Billy said, "He's got chops!".

Years ago, Billy used to do specials on VH1 where he visited colleges and answered questions from the students and played and noodled and it really was cool. This took it to a whole different level.

Billy is great. He's not one of those celebrities that let himself become a caricature of himself. His star has slightly faded, but he stays relevant.
