I had a hard time maintaining my seasoning at first, but then I was cooking acidic stuff in it too.. ended up stripping my pans down to bare metal and starting over..
For an initial seasoning I highly recommend following this guideline, even for the Lodge which is theoretically pre-seasoned - flaxseed oil

For maintenance, I recommend buying a lb of cheap bacon, frying it down and storing the leftover bacon fat in the fridge (strain it to keep the bacon bits out) and use that to season after every use
all my shit is so non-stick now, it's ridic
