not see it, and accidentally lean against all the floor buttons as i get out of the car. wait for the doors to close, and dial 911. if i did it right, the car will jam between floors. if not, well it will still be moving up when the cops arrive.

Not really. All jobs have their stress. I have a great wife and a good home. I try to stay in decent shape (could be a bit better but I'm working on that) and I'm not a boozer. Lots of things take a toll on cops and the adrenaline surges and rest followed instantly by intense activity probably don't help but I think other life issues and decisions robably are worse.
