That's National Guard duty. But the problem is, like with the regular army, in NY there would be no order for them to act. Unless the middle aged wall street banker white men start rioting, of course.

A gang member with a record who was armed being killed by two cops that are racial minorities. I can't wait until white liberals have to explain this one. Is this the part where white liberals state that all police are racist against blacks including the black police?

Best is that the lies have already started from that community. There are witnesses saying that the suspect didn't have a gun on him. We know that's a lie as the kid's prints are on that gun. And that they didn't hear the police identify themselves as police. Another lies as the kids specifically started running away when the officers got out of their cars and screamed "police". But here's the thing....no matter how many "witnesses" you have....you can't lie about Kimani Gray's criminal record and gang membership. The white liberals and black rioters can't cover that one up. You can't cover up a kid's criminal background and gang membership.

Another hilarious aspect of black neighborhoods are that the witnesses always seem to see tons of police brutality. When a cop shoots an armed gangster there are people coming out of the walls to talk about how it was police brutality and that they witnessed everything. "Oh I saw it all that was police killing an unarmed kid". But when some rioters start looking a store in a crowd of hundreds? Not a single witness. No one saw a thing. "I didn't see anything...I don't think it was a riot".

Here's my new military policy. Recall all troops from Germany, Japan, Australia, and so on. Put most them on the border of Mexico and then put the rest in reserve near our largest cities like NY, LA, San Fran, Chicago, and so on. Anytime a riot breaks out you have the military arrest everyone and control the riot. Protect the businesses and homes in the area. Quarantine the area so that civilians don't wander into a riot like Reginald Denny did.

Why is it a conservative victory instead of just a common sense victory? We need to stop thinking left vs right.
The above is strictly my humble opinion.

The right wing tends to support police unless there is police brutality.
The left wing tends to see all police as racist and brutal.
One is a moderate and rational look at police. The other is a blanket assumption about all police. The fact is that the right-wing viewpoint is actually rather moderate. The left-wing viewpoint is essentially an extremist view.

When it comes to framing an issue as left/right, within the dynamic of police relations to the community, you are actually looking at an argument that is more centrist/left. So if you are engaging in a social debate, you're not looking at a left/right issue. As far as policing goes, there seems to be an overwhelming consensus on the left that police are not necessary for society, and that they do more harm than good. This isn't something new. And when there is a racial issue with police? Forget about it. The left won't back down.

Now we have the police being blamed for shooting an armed suspect with gang membership and a lengthy criminal record. Who is blaming them? Almost entirely people from the left. And I don't see anyone in the left-wing or mainstream media defending the police. Look at the headlines:

Eyewitness Certain Kimani Gray Was Unarmed When Police Shot
Anger in Brooklyn at Killing of Kimani Gray, 16, by Police
Mother of 16-Year-Old Killed By Cops Demands Justice
Police Arrest 46 After Vigil for 16-Year-Old They Gunned Down
Let Kimani Be the Last': After 16-Year-Old's Killing
NYPD Violence Looms in Third Day of Protests for Kimani Gray
"Don't Shoot Me": Cops Arrest And Pepper Spray Protesters
Protesters Clash With Police at Rally for 16-Year-Old Shot By Cops
Anger in East Flatbush Persists Over Teenager's Killing by the Police
Commentary: A Disturbance Built on a Tense Relationship With Police
Teen Killed By NY Cops Was Shot 7 Times, 3 Times In The Back

So what do we know from the headlines? Kimani Gray was an innocent 16-year-old child. Shot in the back by police. Was not armed. Police are violent and beating protestors against police brutality. The mother of the murdered teen demands justice. People are angry at the police. All of Brooklyn is angry.

Find me more than a dozen mainstream media outlets that these in their headlines:

"Armed gang member killed by police after pointing loaded gun at officers".
"Armed individual with lengthy criminal record shot to death by police".
"Rioters and looters break into store and use a protest as cover for their crimes".
"Mother of child who had criminal record and loaded weapon to speak".

Where are those headlines? Oh yeah...it's just the NYPost and that's it. Wonderful.
