Who's Howard to talk about appearances (Johnny Depp)

2/19/2013 - commenting on The Grammys (yeah I know, old news)

Howard: "Somebody needs to get a hold of Johnny Depp and tell him that Jack Sparrow is just a character he plays in the movies. I think he's like Daniel Day Lewis, he's living the character... when Daniel did LINCOLN he didn't get out of character for a year. I think Johnny Depp is caught in Jack Sparrow."

Robin: "I looked at that outfit and said well it could have been worse, he could have been stuck in Edward Scissorhands.... the guy in the chocolate factory... or any of those crazy characters."

Howard: "Johnny Depp is forever a pirate. Will dress as one. And by the way, I think he sees himself as some kind of musical guy. (fake laugh) HahahaH!"

Robin: "Yeah I think he plays music somewhere...."

Howard: "I think he plays with... what's the chubby actor..."

Robin: "Oh the guy from Australia..."

Howard: "Russell Crowe."

wow. really? Who's copying who in these photos (see below)... and wasn't it Howard that told JD once to look to Johnny Depp for fashion advice a few years ago, and suddenly Howard started doing it too. And doesn't he realize that JOHN VARVATOS is for wannabe musicians? At least Johnny can play an instrument (and does have an album he's a major part of "Son of Rogues Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys" with some people you might recognize.... Tom Waits, Keith Richards, Michael Stipe, Patti Smith, Frank Zappa, Iggy Pop, Richard Thompson, and many many more. And this after Howard was crowing about his "Silver Nickels & Golden Dimes" being so great, especially after Fred retooled Jewel's performance..... and Robin cackling again over someone with weight issues as if shes thin as a pin and she always professed her love for Depp/Burton work, now they are "crazy characters". C0CKS*CKING MOTHAFUCK3RS!!! (to quote a Howard line)

Howard's insane jealously is showing again. Johnny Depp and his 3 Oscar nominations & $3 billion box office gross farts more talent than Howard dreams of.
