Well, I don't give it much thought anymore, unless I see a thread like this. However, I must say that I think it is odd beyond all belief! I also can't believe they've been able to keep such a lid on the flow of information.

Of course people have a right to medical privacy. BUT IT WAS ROBIN who came in and talked about the catheter and the size of the tumor. I simply don't understand what the big "secret" is.....either she had cancer or she didn't.

I'd love to know what the benefit is in keeping this a secret. I can only come up with the fact that perhaps she never intends to come back in studio and to say so would somehow affect her contract?

Common sense would tell us that it was not a simple removal of a benign tumor....but again...what's the big secret?....and how do they pass this off as normal?

So at the end of the show ...a FEMALE caller called in...asking "when is Robin coming back???? IN STUDIO LIVE??"

and of course....FaFa and JonHein have their SET STATEMENT from Howard .....
"Robin will be back when she is READY!!!" wtf does that mean??
The caller said "it's been almost A YEAR NOW since she was LIVE" and Gary chimes right in with the SET STATEMENT....."ROBIN IS LIVE every day!!"

SHE MEANT ....IN STUDIO LIVE!! NOT ON THE PHONE CALLING IT IN!!

We will NEVER EVER EVER EVER get a STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM ANYONE will we?????

So much for HONESTY....Howard's such an HONEST BROADCASTER isn't he?????

Robin has decided not to and in addition has decided not to return to the studio and be filmed.
Frankly, that's the end of the story...It's not Stern's decision to make, only Robin's. It's her personal life after all.

What makes you think that you (or anyone else for that matter) have the right to demand information on Robin's personal life...Oh that's right, you don't.

You missed a major point. It was Howards decision that Robin not talk about it.
Robin couldn't wait to have the spotlight.

I like the house arrest theory. The serious illness theory doesn't fit well with some of the the things Robin and others have claimed Robin has done. Plus Howard always seems to go to Robin's we never hear of Robin going to Howard's. Under house arrest you are allowed to do some limited outside activity, like go and vote. But visiting friends isn't one of the things you are allowed to do.
