It's too bad more black guys don't play the blues anymore

Rap Music is so fucking lazy. Blues is an art form that will be lost in their community.

The secret to knowing you are listening to bad blues is this....
    1. White person is playing it. No exceptions, ever.
    2. You are listening to it a jazz and rib fest
    3. blood on the floor=good blues bar. If there is no blood it's a bad blues bar.

But I know what you are saying, there are some. But I'm watching this SRV Albert King video on Texas public TV and it dawned on me, there were so many greats. They are all dead or in their 70's now.

I was watching Chicago PBS during a pledge Drive last weekend and they were showing Muddy and the Stones at the Checkerboard Lounge. Come to think of it, it was yesterday.

They show the best stuff during pledge drives

I had the pleasure of seeing Muddy open for Clapton in 1979...what a show.
