Too much choice in this country. People that can't afford 1 kid are choosing to have 9. Freedom of choice!! Who is the government to tell them they can't have anymore kids?? Just keep sending them welfare.....

Our nanny was on letterman last night. he claimed it is govt's job to help people get healthier through education. he considers his ban to be "education". I would like him to point to the place in the city charter where it says that is his mandate.

Nanny makes it up as he goes.

Nanny used the same explainations when he was actively running his corporations: it's management's job to educate employees about how to retain their jobs. this education consists of "do what we tell you regardless of the legalities or we will fire you and find someone who will". this education is also teaching people how to be healthy.

Bloomberg is a tyrant. He just uses a "good cause" to get his foot in the door and establish the precedent of "it's good for society".

There was a guy back in the 30's who decided it was "good for society" to get rid of various groups of "undesireables". And they cheered him too at first.
