I don't see it that way. Bubba was pretty up front about Sirius low balling him. IIRC, he had a 1 million operating budget for the first contract and then they dropped it over half or so. That's why he did the live show on Cox and the afternoon for the next contract. I think Sirius lowballed him even more on the third contract and he told them to go fuck themselves. He pays everyone out of the operating budget.

I simply don't care what they do with Bubba. I just don't have enough time on this planet to endure "shock-the-puss", NASCAR, hillbilly white trash melodramatic bullshit on any level. AND I actually like pro-wrestling.

I'm not remotely trying to paint myself as some intellectual evolved creature, but Bubba's show REALLY rots my brain. Bubba's only useful to me if I can get a Hillbilly Zoo Za Zoo off on his stupid contrived show. Everything's just so......forced!?!?

I never listened to Bubba's show, but at least he's a better guest than Joan Rivers. Howard will find a way to ruin it with talk about beer can cock in the Hulk Hogan sex tape or grilling Bubba about how much he's making.

i feel bad for bubba. i hope he doesn't end up giving his show back to sirius for free.

they gave a great effort with the subscriber route in terms of content. an uncensored show, shannon burke, scott ledger, all extra manson, spice and brent shows.

but between his business model, spice leaving and the turmoil in bubba's private life, it was rough sailing out of the dock.

he should have went the carolla/smith model, but these old broadcasters are afraid to cut the cord.
