no, it's not; it's realistic and unselfish.

i have buried everyone in my family (and many of my childhood friends) so far. it hurts each time, both to have them leave and to have to watch them slowly decay because I was taught to keep things living as long as possible using every method available. Sometimes (often) it is far kinder to let someone go, quickly and with minimal pain and suffering, than to make them linger on just because you can and because you don't want them to go. we can postpone death but why do it, if the resulting quality of life makes them wish for death? there's a lot to be said for dying with dignity and respect.
ok, who writes "goo goo at a at a, fukin jew heeb"?
"fuckyoubigot i dont like you're sig" "repeated annoying comments"

What if the one test or attempt of healing is the one that is successful but you deny the effort because you're too selfish to endure some added emotional pain?

Too bad the death panels in Obama Care haven't kicked in yet.

Ahhh... cheer up, buttercup. Bitter & angry at everything surely is no way to go through life

It saddens me to hear when family passes away, especially if there is suffering involved. Having lost both parents I feel you Mario. I hope your Uncle doesn't suffer too much and your grandmother finds strength from the rest of her family. Like another poster said, it isn't the natural order of things for children to go before their parents. Be there for your uncle as long as you can and your Grandma. Give her love, it's all you can do. Hugs.

Going through the same thing with my Mom.been in the hospital going on two weeks. she has a terrible infection on her right lower leg Arteries are completely blocked with no blood flow to heal and clear the infection and with little means of Surgical repair she is now left with a choice amputate just above the knee or let the infection turn to sepsis she wants to die and if I could get my hands on Pentobarbital my family would grant her wish.
