1988. Aerosmith, on their "Permanent Vacation" tour, with Guns N' Roses opening. It was in Mansfield MA, basically Aerosmith's back yard, but there were as many people wearing GN'R t-shirts as Aerosmith t-shirts. People walking around wearing Slash top hats. "Appetite For Destruction" was the number one album in the country at the time, and the "Sweet Child O' Mine" single was in the top ten. Awesome experience. Thrilled that I got to see the original Guns before the implosion started.

    Shit, that sounds amazing.

I saw GnR 3.0 in 2006 and it was a good show, but it wasn't the same without the rest of the guys.
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.

You can also just call me "Dick".

I'm with ya there dude (?)... Chicks really playing instruments is an automatic +4/+5 to me. I'd like to be face raped by all 3 of those, especially the brunette fiddler. One of the greatest shows I ever saw was Rasputina, opening for Les Claypool..... I'd eat Melora Creagar's asshole.

Awesome. This was supposed to be my first concert. My brother had an extra ticket but wouldn't take me because he thought I didn't like Aerosmith. I still bring it up whenever we get into an argument. My first concert was Tom Petty during his Full Moon Fever tour. There was a line to get a number before you could get tickets and I pulled #2 so I was second in line and got front row seats which were amazing and I have never been able to get as close ever again.
