I have an electric fence for the horses and "tested" it after I finished the install. I could have walked to the barn and got my voltage tester but what fun would that be? I've been tasered before and it's quite similar. It'll certainly wake you up! :-)

I've never claimed to be the brightest but I wanted to see how much of a jolt it was, and that it was working properly so that I would know that our animals are safe. Besides, it won't kill you and isn't really painful......gotta live a little!

For a few years in my 20's I worked in an electrical assembly plant, and part of my job was testing power supply sub-assemblies. I got 110v several times a day, almost kinda liked it after a while...220v would not be so fun

I found an old electric fence transformer and a roll of wire cleaning out my moms house. I'm holding on to it until I get bored some day

Somewhere in a storage shed I've got a 1950's electric train that had been an older brother's. It's got a big old humming transformer, and that fucker will zap the shit out of you if you cross the rails with skin.....They were the tougher, stronger generation....no faggity warnings and safety mechanism for those kids
