It's amazing how little people in N.O. seemed to care about AGT.... can you imagine how those "celebrities" must have felt, being limo'd in through the slums of abandoned houses, to a paltry crowd of high school kids who SHOULD BE IN SCHOOL, mixed in with ignorant, homeless looking people who showed up only for the free tix?
I know they're making money - but if it were me, I'd feel so bad about it - regardless of what's in the bank. You're kind of like a whore - selling your dignity for money. What a failure.
THIS - and John Malone's order NOT to TALK ABOUT AGT - MUST be why we ain't hearing squat about this pitiful show.

These shows are masterful at making these puny crowds look big and loud inside and out.
All of these outside 'redcarpet' events in each city involve a few rows of fans with ringers (see Pepito).
Tight camera shots and sweetened crowd noise can make it look like hundreds are cheering them as they exit their vehicles....
They were busing in old people to the Tampa auditions last year.

I signed up for tickets to San Antonio just to see what was involved. Here's the info they give you. They say no cell phones but apparently they don't enforce it based on what freddiequell said: Originally Posted by joyceface
