I love how Tosh makes fun of the blaeks but for some reason all of them really like him. He's like the skinny white comedy version of Elvis to the blaek community. I don't think I could sit through his stand up though. Especially not for $90 to sit with a bunch of college kids. Fuck I am old.

That's true. I am going to try to find some Tosh standup on youtube and see how it is. If he is coming through the Chicago area I might go see him. I saw Paulie Shore in college and the guy was actually really funny. This was at the height of his MTV fame and his whole, "I'm the Weasel!" schtick. It was only a long time after that I found out his mom owned the Comedy Store(or something like that) in Hollywood.
Norm is in my opinion the #2 standup comic of today behind Dave Attell(Schimmel was #1 until his death. I saw him 3 times and each time was hilarious). I know everyone says "Louis CK" but I haven't seen enough of his stuff to form an opinion.

Dave Attel is great, loved his comedy central special a few years back.

saw him do a set at the Comedy and Magic Club; he was funny, but not $90 funny, unless you wipe your ass with hundred dollar bills.

the current televised tour kind of gives away his set: make a universally funny joke, then spin off a strange joke, then go for the obscure joke that only 6 people in the audience get. that's what he likes to do.
