80% of recent high school graduates are not white/yellow = cant read.
    Simple genetics.

Blacks have high testosterone = tons of kids + rape + crime. The reason why they never thru history have managed to create working society. "Lets kill whitey"

    Who will pay for this?
(In my country workers pays minimum 75% tax. Our local Obama have increased the population of our country with 30% non white the last 20 years. To pay for everything they have calculated that the tax rate will be 150% year 2050. We will soon have to PAY to work. Socialism at its finest. BTW. No wonder that USA is know as JewSA outside USA. Almost 20% in the senate are jews)

you see, strong families and educated, self-sufficient people dont need govt handouts, they just need gov't to get the hell out of the way
That's why Women's Liberation was created and funded by the government. Destroy the family unit and make future generations dependent on government services/slave masters.

It always get me how we are encouraged to help women get a better education. The poor women are the victims of educational discrimination. That's been one of the biggest myths going for the past 40 years too.

Does anyone remember this controversy from back in 2002? This is from the New York Times, and was also carried by a few other papers at the time.

Many Teachers Keep Failing Test For Certification

    By YILU ZHAO

    Published: April 29, 2002

About 9 percent of New York City's 12,828 uncertified public school teachers have failed a basic exam required for certification at least four times, according to data from the Board of Education that for the first time breaks down teachers' performance in the test.

Of those 1,161 teachers, 217 have failed the state-administered exam, the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test, 10 times without passing. Close to 3,300 uncertified teachers have never taken the test, and more than 3,000 of those who have taken it have never passed, the report said. Teachers in the city's failing districts perform significantly worse on the test than those in stronger districts.
''This is a simple, easy test that any educated person should be able to pass,'' Schools Chancellor Harold O. Levy said in an interview yesterday, adding that getting about 60 percent of the 80 multiple-choice questions right qualified as passing. ''We have the wrong people in the classrooms.''
Mr. Levy said that the board had in recent months sought the names of those teachers who had repeatedly failed from the State Department of Education, which administers the test. He said the board would consider not renewing the contracts of those who had repeatedly failed. The state has refused to release their names to the board, citing privacy reasons, Mr. Levy said.

The exam, which also includes an essay, tests general knowledge, familiarity with important scientific discoveries and significant artistic achievements.
Mr. Levy said that when the board works to hire 10,000 teachers to start this September, it will make every effort to hire only certified teachers. It will also try to identify those candidates who have passed the test only after multiple tries and perhaps reject such applications.
Teachers who pass the test on their first try score much higher on average than those who have failed at least once, the report shows. There is no limit on how many times a teacher can take the test. Teachers' performance on the exam is a strong predictor of their students' performance on standardized tests, according to the Board of Education.
In the city's weakest school districts, which are often the hardest to staff, teachers performed the most poorly on the exam, the report said. The passing rate in those districts for uncertified teachers is 61.2 percent, compared with 75.6 percent in the rest of the city. ''This may compound the difficulty presented in these districts, which already have higher rates of uncertified teachers,'' the report said.
Starting in September 2003, only certified teachers will be able to work in the city's public schools, mandated by a rule passed in 1998 by the State Board of Regents. Mr. Levy voted for this rule when he was a Regent, he said. About 16 percent of the city's roughly 80,000 public school teachers are uncertified, compared with less than 4 percent in the rest of the state.

Barring uncertified teachers from the system will greatly exacerbate the current teacher shortage and is likely to send the board scrambling to import certified teachers from elsewhere. But Mr. Levy said having qualified teachers in the classrooms is equally important as having enough teachers.
''We'll have to solve the problems one at a time,'' he said. ''Unless we can attract better people into teaching, we are going to condemn our students to a very unsatisfying education.''
Mr. Levy admitted it was unrealistic to purge all the uncertified teachers who have repeatedly failed the test from the public schools right now. But he said he will try to hire only teachers who have passed the test after a reasonable number of tries in subjects or areas where the teacher shortage is less acute.

If I remember right, the unions battled to get the tests changed and ALL the bad teachers were retained. Down the road 10 years, we see grossly unprepared teenagers ready for the social system in stead of the workforce.

Teachers' Unions still seem to be extremely strong. Don't they have something called "The rubber room" where teachers who are unfit to teach, just sit there all day and collect their protected union salary?

Exactly. We had the unabridged Huckleberry Finn in our school library, (600+ pages) and after having read Tom Sawyer, I'd read Huck Finn a couple times in 4-5th grade.

And as far as grammar and sentence structure are concerned?
Having been raised in Oklahoma, I do a much better job in text than I do orally, as anyone who's spoken with me on the phone can attest.

I still read an awful lot. Its mostly just "junk" by Stephen King/Tom Clancy/Dean Koontz but in January alone I ended up reading 22 books since the weather was absolutely wretched this year.

Shit, now that I am thinking about it I am actually reading through IT by Stephen King again (must be the 15th time or so) which was the 1000+ novel I mentioned reading. The same copy that is now 20 yrs old, missing its cover and wore the fuck out.

I blame the joooos. Only a joooo could get goyim to agree to pay 50% more than they earn annually in taxes so the jooo bankers can then charge compound joootrest (joo gold interest) on the amount over their annual income the goyim do not earn enough to pay.

Oh yeah I know about falling into the "Wiki-hole" and also reading a shitload of news articles but still love curling up with a book for some "light reading". After reading the Bible, yes the Bible in its entirety, when I was 14 I stopped reading "serious" material in book form after that. Also used to read through encyclopedias when I was kid so I was "that" guy.
